Because it doesn’t get much more exhilarating than throwing yourself out of a plane right? If you’re looking for daring activities in Dubai then there are a couple to choose from but Skydive Dubai offers tandem skydives where you can experience freefalling at over 120 miles per hour. And did we mention the view? The dropzone is over the iconic Palm Islands and you’ll even get a professionally edited video of the jump so you can replay the moment again and again.

If you’re planning on jumping into great white shark-infested waters then doing it in a secure cage just off the coast of Cape Town is definitely the way to go. There are a few companies that offer this experience but the Great White Diving Company has been operating for 20 years and has a 100% safety record, which is always good to know when you’re jumping into the waters of one of the world’s most daring activities.
Death Road, or Camino de la Muerte, is officially known as the North Yungas Road, and was named the World’s Most Dangerous Road by the Inter-American Development Bank in 1995. Why you may ask? Well, it’s because an estimated 200-300 people a month would die by simply slipping off the side of the road in their cars or trucks while driving.
The road is now closed for general traffic (although locals and tour companies still use it!), and it has become a popular attraction for tourists. Many local tour companies offer cycling experiences that allow you to cycle along the bumpy road, trying not to get too distracted by the absolutely jaw-dropping scenery along the way.
Daredevils and people who simply get too caught in the moment may be attracted to the idea of bungee jumping at Victoria Falls. Now, this isn’t the highest bungee jump in the world but it is arguably the most exhilarating due to the thundering backdrop of Victoria Falls. The jump is 111 metres and you can ask for refund literally up until the point of being strapped up while peering over the edge.

Known to have some of the world’s wildest white water rafting and kayaking, Oregon’s Celestial Falls are truly for thrillseekers and really, really brave people. The highlight of the whole falls is probably the 50-foot White River gorge waterfall that kayakers just casually row over, and after watching several YouTube videos of this in action we can safely say that we will leave this one to the pros.
