Things don’t always work out, so enjoy peace of mind knowing that the following cancellation options are available to you.

• From 1 day before your chosen date, onwards - Non-refundable
• Up to 7 days after purchase (and at least 1 day before your chosen date) - 100%
• Flight cancellations require a minimum notification period of 24 hours prior to departure
• Cancellation notice of 24 hours is required for a full refund claim
• No refund applies if booking is cancelled within 24 hours

Changes to booking

• A minimum of 24 hours is required to change a booking you have made

• Any essential medication
• 3–4 layers of warm upper body clothing
• A warm hat and gloves
• Sunglasses and sun protection
• A camera
• A daypack
• Snacks, and plenty of them. It’s a big day with limited options to buy food
• Jeans are not recommended

Availability:

• Available every day: Departs 9am; returns 5pm (approximately)
  • *Please note: Departure times vary according to pick-up location
• Pick-Up/Departure Points: Pick-up available from central Queenstown hotels (must be booked in advance). Flights depart Queenstown Airport
  • Complimentary pick-ups start approximately 50 minutes before departure time. Confirmation of your pick-up time is provided following booking confirmation
  • Pick-up is not available from Airbnb, residential or holiday rental properties
• Check-in is required at Queenstown Airport in the main terminal 30 minutes hour before departure
• Self-Drive: Check-in time if you are self-driving to Queenstown Airport is 30 minutes prior. Free parking at Queenstown Airport is not available. Terminal Parking A is the closest parking to check-in and costs up to NZ$20 for the day (*rates may change without notice). For the closest free on-street parking, please head to Douglas Street or McBride Street

Important:

• Glenorchy Air provides quality leather boots, wool socks, gloves, beanies, crampons/snowshoes, harnesses (if required), walking poles, insulated jacket, waterproof jacket, and overtrousers
• The Pilot in Command will determine the seating of passengers based on the weight and balance restrictions of that specific aircraft
• Food and drinks are not included
• Dangerous goods cannot be carried in your baggage. Please see here for dangerous goods list
• Please allow up to eight hours total for this experience, including travel time
• A low to moderate fitness level is recommended for your hike. You will be walking for approximately two hours on uneven ground

Terms and Conditions:

• Children under 10 are not permitted
• Weight restrictions apply. Passengers over 140kgs must notify Glenorchy Air prior to departure. Should your actual weight at the time of check-in exceed 15kg over your declared weight, your booking may need to be rescheduled due to weight and balance limits
• Given alpine flying conditions, Glenorchy Air reserves the right to alter the flight paths, and activity durations or cancel flights and activities due to weather and safety considerations. Alternative road transport will be arranged if necessary or tour may be rescheduled depending on the passenger’s schedule and flight availability.
• Should a flight be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, it may be rescheduled depending on the passenger’s schedule and flight availability
• Itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and trail conditions

• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
