  • Available every day in season: Departs 10am or 2pm (weather permitting). Please arrive 15–30 minutes prior to departure time
  • Whale watching available from 12 August to 24 November 2024
  • Please be sure to arrive at least 15–30 minutes prior to your tour departing. Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer
  • Departure Point: Pro Fisherman’s Boat Ramp, Geographe Bay Road, Dunsborough (opposite McDermott St, Quindalup), approximately five minutes drive from the Dunsborough town centre

Important:

  • Exclusions: Meals, additional drinks and hotel transfers
  • Please note: Dunsborough departures are a beach boarding and you will need to be transferred from the beach to the Alison Maree via a tender vessel
  • Valid for all ages. Child rate valid for ages 3–14
  • Safety rails are all around the vessel and children’s life jackets are provided on board
  • Smoking is not permitted on the boats, no alcohol permitted on boats. Naturaliste Charters reserves the right to refuse admission if guests is under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • It is advisable to take motion sickness tablets at least one hour prior to departure if you have little boating experience. If you know you experience seasickness or you are not too sure please visit your local chemist and speak to the pharmacist for some advice on what could be suitable for you
  • It is possible to welcome passengers in a wheelchair on board for a Whale Watching Tour but there are some limitations, please contact the office prior to making a booking

Terms & Conditions:

  • Naturaliste Charters reserves the right to cancel or change a tour or to replace any boats at any time in the interests of passenger safety
  • Weather and sea conditions can change quickly and this may alter the status of your tour at any time. In rough sea conditions, the boat captain may increase child age limits or place restrictions on or refuse to carry passengers with medical conditions and/or limited mobility and passengers who are pregnant
  • A full refund will apply to tours cancelled due to inclement weather, a tour where minimum passenger numbers have not been met or any other safety reason if it cannot be rebooked to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Whale Guarantee: Your cruise will have a strong 99% whale sighting success rate across our tours, however, on the small chance you don’t get to see whales, we welcome you to join us for another tour for free. See here for more details
  • Minimum 10 people required for cruise to go ahead
  • Valid for Dunsborough departures only

Cancellations:

  • All cancellations incur a 20% cancellation fee
  • Cancellations made between 14 days and 7 days before departure date: 50% cancellation fee applies
  • Cancellations within 7 days of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies
  • If you need to change your booking, please contact the office directly on (08) 9750 5500

Changes to Booking:

  • 14 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made
