Did not feel like luxury in the room. Very thin walls and a broken shower door. Slept terribly with normal noise from neighbors and the hall. No perks or comps or anything (did not care it was my husband's birthday) even after literal days spent having fun in their casino. Staff at front desk was rude upon arrival... I just wasn't that impressed. Many parts of the hotel are beautiful, but nothing really compels me to go back. Luxury and Five Star to me means beautiful and restful rooms and having warm interactions with staff where you feel special from beginning to end. Maybe even have small surprises where you feel well taken care of and pampered. Five Star usually includes at least one moment of magic on property. That was not Bellagio. Spa was overpriced and pretty lackluster as well.

The location is central, and the building itself, along with the common areas, are beautiful. There are plenty of dining options, and the spa service and staff were excellent. However, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1.We had to call housekeeping for basic items like tissue boxes, slippers, razors, and grooming sets, which was a bit inconvenient. 2.The robes were wrinkled, and the showerhead could have been cleaner. 3.The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps were difficult to use; it took multiple attempts to get a decent amount. There was no coffee machine or kettle in the room. If we wanted coffee or tea, we had to go downstairs or call room service, which was a bit of a hassle. Most 4- and 5-star hotels typically offer this in-room. 4.Room service charges $25 for using proper plates and silverware, and $10 for paper plates or boxes on top of the actual bill—fees that are often included at other 4- and 5-star hotels. 5.Mandatory resort fees were charged, despite not using any of the amenities they cover. 6.Despite requesting a non-smoking room due to pregnancy, we were placed in a tower where we had to walk through smoky casino areas. It would have been helpful to have this communicated to us in advance. Thankfully, I had a mask, but I still felt nauseous whenever I went to the reception and even upon exiting our tower elevator, it already reeks of cigarette smoke. While these inconveniences made it hard to fully recommend this hotel for a stay, it could still be suitable for visiting or dining. We were expecting a level of service more in line with what we’re used to in places like Dubai or elsewhere.
