WOW! Just "WOW!" I loved this place! I can't stop using exclamation marks! This is a must go destination for letting go of all life's little worries and day-to-day problems, I've never witnessed my wife cry before, however! When they sang us our farewell song? Boom the dam burst!! Lifes too short not to go here!!!!!

this is the first day we stay at Vomo, feels great! Everyone is so nice and kind here! Great service too! Rooms are so clean and new! Also they have many activities for kids and adults too! We had Fiji nights tonight, And really great! Lunch was so yummy too ! I will updated more soon:)

First time in Fiji and we chose an all inclusive resort. The location and view of the island is just amazing and perfect for a short vacation from Sydney. Food is the other reason we picked this resort and as a big foodie, I can highly recommend the food here. Ever changing 3 course menus for lunch and dinner are just fantastic. (You can find examples in the photos below.) The other thing to mention is vibrant corals of the shore reef. Although the corals are small but the health and colors are wonderful. Reef drops are pretty close to the shore, which makes the reef system pretty healthy and vibrant. However, reef is still pretty sheltered for inexperienced snorkelers too. We had the beachfront villa. The room is spacious and sparkling clean! However, beachfront villas are duplex and can be used as connecting rooms. So the shared wall is pretty thin. However, guests on the island are pretty respectful and keep the volume down to the minimum. The only complaint is the amount of mosquitos in the room. I was attacked by more than 10 mosquitos in the last 3 days. To the extent that I had to ask them not to service the room to keep the door shut. However, this can be an easy fix by the resort in the future. Ps. The mountain hike is only 500m one way and you will be rewarded with amazing tiny island and reef view. A must do activity on the island! Overall, we highly recommend this resort for couples and families who want a quick luxury island getaway!

Ongoing review as we are still at the resort. Will update if anything changes current rating weighted heavier on service. In general the resort is nice. Good amenities for families, which is why we chose this resort to celebrate my wife's birthday and just for the winter holiday. Rooms are OK and pretty minimal, but we don't spend much of our time in the room and the daily laundry service is very nice. Service has been basically just spotty and inconsistent at best and for the $ amount pretty underwhelming. Every meal service simply seems like the staff are not only confused about what is on the menu for the day, but also unsure on how to take orders given the resort is mostly all-inclusive. I don't believe we have had one meal where something simply wasn't forgotten from our order, or multiple things in some cases. Having different staff serve a table throughout a meal is fine, but that also just means that training and communication is severely lacking. Also, in terms of attentiveness it is my wife's birthday at this time and I had asked if maybe the staff could just at minimum stick a birthday candle in the dessert we had ordered for our meal and was assured that was something that could be done and brought to our room as a surprise. Not only did this not happen they messaged my wife on the resort app telling her they were going to bring it out to us in the dining area and we left for our room, they also never tried to remedy this whatsoever knowing it was a birthday either. I tried to set up another surprise the following day to make up for it at the Rocks restaurant and pretty much the same thing. Forgotten again and no attempt to remedy, also to note they have been having staff sing for people's anniversaries and birthdays, but not for us. Speaking of the Rocks, we ordered the main dishes available instead of apps and sides and we only got two of the mains and they brought out dessert. Another instance of miscommunication and seemingly lack of care it seems. Constant confusion and another missed chance to get one single candle for a birthday so we just left back to our room. Not sure whether they just don't care for our family or it is just like this in general, but a pretty disappointing experience. We have been to resorts in Hawaii, SE Asia, Fr. Polynesia, Maldives, and more and none have given us this type of "experience".
