Hotel is very close to all your shopping and food needs. Staff are friendly and the room was nice. I was rather annoyed as we booked the hotel to use the roof spa but it was down the whole week for maintenance. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

You can tell it's quite an old hotel given the dated decor and furniture but it's clean and comfortable. Service was fine based on those we spoke to, about what you would expect from this type of hotel. Location is good and overall it was reasonable for the price.

More shabby than chic, thought stepping away from generic hotels would add an element of charm, in reality out dated and in need of repair. Expecting a room styled to depict an era, we are actually in a room that feels hasn’t been updated since. Broken light fittings and broken appliances. Booked in particular for the spa, and when we went to use it it’s out of order until further notice. The security hold is also not advertised - patron beware. $100 per night that you stay upfront. Five nights $500, one night $100 - pretty sure you could clean out the mini bar and not owe that!! Five star - not even close!

Rooms are old but nice, however, public areas have not been maintained. There is crust on elevator buttons as they are seemingly never cleaned, chlorine stains all over the walls and ceilings on the pool, hot tub has missing tiles, finger prints all over the doors and glass lifts. I quite like older style hotels, but the public areas just feel gross.
