Perfect location on the doorstep of Chinatown light rail stop, Central Station and many quality Thai restaurants. World Square is just around the corner with a Coles, essential services and many trendy eateries. It’s on a terminating street so no heavy traffic or noises at night. Rooms were very clean and presentable. Enjoyed the stylistic touches and quality toiletries at a reasonable price. Reception staff were friendly and the hotel had a classy vibe.

I recently stayed at The Capitol Hotel and had a great experience. It’s a small, clean, and newly renovated hotel with a seamless check-in and check-out process. The location is fantastic, with plenty of eateries and shopping nearby, plus the Chinatown light rail stop right outside makes it super easy to access everything in the CBD. The beds were incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller side, but cozy and well-maintained. My personal preference is for higher water pressure in the shower, but overall, it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in Sydney!

Great city Central location. Very minimal hanging space for clothes. No ironing equipment is available. Good shower with easy to read ( without glasses), shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. As an older person, I was disappointed that free to air TV was not available. Google TV or if you have apps on your phone cast to TV. It's not an easy option for a lot of people. I would say it was overpriced unless you get a special price. You pay for the central location. I could not fault the location to go to the capital theatre. Light rail is less than 5 minutes from hotel. Is is very quite given its central location. The mantra and Merriton apartments are very near also.

Excellent location being right in the city next to the Capitol theatre, China town and our room overlooked George Street. Nice looking rooms although the light rail could be heard rumbling outside our window constantly as these are very regular. Sometimes, it's the little things that make your stay great. Unfortunately the room didn't have simple things like draws in the bathroom, no tissues, no extra roll of toilet paper, no cupboard to hang clothes although there was space for one. No hand wash soap, instead provided with a tiny soap block that stuck to the soap dish. Bathroom was modern, but the toilet seat was very uncomfortable and wasn't stable, moving alot. When the room was made up the next day, they didn't provide any toilet paper even though there was only a tiny bit left on the roll with 4 people staying in the room. We had to go ask for more. Considering the price paid for the room p/ night, expected these things to be included. The breakfast is way overpriced at $66ea for a light breakfast??!!! Don't eat here. Lots of other options around. Wouldn't stay here again as there are other hotels we've stayed at near by that has everything you'd expect.
