Oshino Village is located at the foot of Mt. Fuji in southeastern Yamanashi Prefecture. The view of Mt. Fuji from Oshino Hakkai and the idyllic Japanese scenery with ponds and windmills are a must-see. “Oshino Hakkai,” a natural monument, is a spring-fed pond that originates from the underground water of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a relaxing moment feeling the blessings of Fuji in its solemn and mystical spring-fed pond.
【The Original Landscape of Japan Spreads Out: Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba】
This is a restoration of a village of thatched-roof houses, once said to be the most beautiful in Japan, which was destroyed by a typhoon disaster. At the approximately 20 thatched-roof houses, you can experience traditional crafts and activities that make use of nature and culture, allowing you to feel a nostalgic sense of Japan. Enjoy a stroll through the village while looking at Mt. Fuji. Within the facility, there are restaurants where you can enjoy local cuisine and soba noodles, as well as tea houses where you can enjoy dumplings and sweets. *Paid areas require individual payment.

- The tulip blooming season is typically from late April to early May each year, so they may not be visible depending on the time of your visit. Please also note that sunflowers, cosmos, and other flowers have their own blooming seasons for each season.
- *Please note that the tour will no longer stop at Yamanakako Hananomiyako Park after October 1, 2023.
- Lunch is not included in the tour. Please purchase your own lunch at Oshino Hakkai.
- The flowering status varies depending on the year’s climate. You may not be able to see flowers at Oishi Park.
