Bandara Spa Resort & Pool Villas, Samui brings together beachfront living, Thai-inspired spa rituals and easy access to Fisherman’s Village – giving couples and families a relaxed base for exploring Koh Samui.

Set on Bophut Beach in Koh Samui, discover easygoing beachfront days, tropical gardens and the convenience of Fisherman’s Village nearby when you stay at Bandara Spa Resort & Pool Villas, Samui.

Spend mornings by the sea, afternoons between four swimming pools and evenings over dinner at Chom Dao Beach Club. With Shine Spa, private pool-villa options and plenty for families to enjoy, the resort makes a relaxed escape feel simple.

The beach is part of your daily rhythm

Set directly on Bophut Beach, Bandara Spa Resort & Pool Villas, Samui makes island time easy to settle into. Mornings begin with the sound of the water, while the resort’s gardens, palms and open-air spaces keep the atmosphere relaxed throughout the day.

The beach is close enough for a quick swim before breakfast, a shaded walk after lunch or an unhurried sunset by the sand. When you feel like exploring, Fisherman’s Village is only a short walk away, with restaurants, boutiques and a night market along the waterfront.

It’s a useful balance: you can stay close to the resort when the mood calls for stillness, then head out for a change of scenery without planning a full day around it.

You can choose your own kind of pool day

With four outdoor swimming pools, the resort gives different travellers room to find their pace. There’s a main pool for easygoing swims, a children’s pool for younger guests and beachfront options where the sea stays in view.

Families can move between the beach, the pools and Monkey Club kids’ club, while couples might prefer a quieter corner beneath the palms. The pool areas are designed for the kind of holiday where you can read several pages, take a dip, order a drink and lose track of the afternoon without feeling that you should be somewhere else.

For more privacy, the resort’s pool-villa categories bring a tropical garden setting and their own plunge pools. The Garden Pool Villa, for example, is designed around outdoor space, with a private pool and sun deck creating a more self-contained stay.

Chom Dao turns dinner into a seaside ritual

Chom Dao Beach Club is the resort’s beachfront dining destination, serving Thai and international dishes from a relaxed, open-air setting. The location does much of the work: you can sit close to the sand, watch the light change over the water and let dinner stretch into the evening.

The menu includes fresh seafood alongside Thai favourites and international options, making it easy to keep things casual or settle in for a longer meal. A beach bar and pool bar add further places to pause between swims, particularly when the afternoon heat calls for something cold.

The appeal is less about elaborate dining and more about convenience with a sense of place. You don’t need to leave the resort to eat beside the sea.

Shine Spa brings Thai rituals into your holiday

At Shine Spa, treatments draw on Thai herbs, aromatic oils and traditional techniques. The spa offers a considered pause from the heat and activity of the island, with massages and body treatments designed to leave the rest of the day feeling pleasantly open.

The spa operates daily from 10am to 9pm, so you can book a treatment after a morning at the beach or make it part of a slower afternoon. Couples can choose treatments together, while solo travellers can use the time to reset between sightseeing and pool days.

There’s no need to over-schedule a stay here. One treatment, followed by a quiet hour in the garden or beside the water, can be enough.

Fisherman’s Village gives you a reason to wander

Fisherman’s Village is close enough to become part of the holiday rather than a one-off excursion. Its former fishing-village character now sits alongside restaurants, bars, boutiques and a regular night market, making it a natural place to spend an evening away from the resort.

Go early for a walk along the waterfront, return later for food and browse the market stalls as the lights come on. The short distance matters, particularly for families or anyone who likes having options without relying on taxis.

Back at Bandara, the pace changes again. The resort’s four pools, beachfront setting, Monkey Club and Shine Spa make it easy to spend a full day without leaving the property, while Bophut’s restaurants and market are ready whenever you want more of the island.

For a Koh Samui stay that gives you both a beachfront base and an easy local evening out, Bandara Spa Resort & Pool Villas, Samui keeps the choice simple.
