TFE Hotels has commenced construction on the luxurious Hannah St. Hotel, located on Melbourne\u2019s Southbank.<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melbourne’s hotel scene has a new kid on the block: the boutique Hannah St. Hotel.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $150 million hotel will house 188 rooms across 10 levels of the gleaming 62-storey Queensbridge Building, a new residential tower near Melbourne\u2019s Crown complex.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flack Studios, the design mavericks behind Troye Sivan’s Architectural Digest residence<\/a> and Sydney\u2019s Ace hotel<\/a> are at the helm, marrying Southbank\u2019s industrial heritage with the ultra-modern facade. The hotel will feature its own neighbourhood bar, restaurant and terrace, and offer guests exclusive access to the Queensbridge Building facilities with a rooftop lap pool and coworking spaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel is poised to capitalise on Melbourne\u2019s $1.7 billion Arts Precinct transformation, which includes upgraded performance and art spaces, enhanced accessibility and the creation of a new 18,000sqm urban garden with biodiverse planting.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel’s eponymous street holds its own rich history. It\u2019s named after Patrick Hanna, an early immigrant from Glasgow, who, as an engineer and shipbuilder, played a pivotal role in connecting future Melburnians to the city from across the river. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
