With a superior all-inclusive offering and private beachfront – here’s why Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort is one of our top picks in Phuket.

On the peaceful southern tip of Phuket, spilling onto the dreamy white sands of Cape Panwa, you’ll find Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort. With an awards list that’s as long as its breakfast buffet table, this is an escape that delivers on every level.

1. It has an unbeatable all-inclusive package

It’s well worth opting into an all-inclusive stay here, as it’s the breadth of choices included that sets Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort’s dining program apart. Start each morning at buffet restaurant Aqua, featuring a diverse selection of international, Thai and Indian favourites, plus an outdoor terrace with views over the Andaman Sea.

Bold, authentic Thai flavours await at Tamarind Restaurant (available for lunch or dinner). Led by Phuket local Chef Nok, the menu showcases time-honoured recipes driven by locally sourced seafood and produce, like the signature Thai coconut soup with rock lobster or squid and shrimp-filled pad Thai. The setting is unmatched, with balmy evenings, candlelit tables and uninterrupted views over Makham Bay.

Feel like something a little more casual? Edge Beach Club is the go-to for a laid-back lunch poolside.

2. Its beach club is a dreamy spot for cocktails at sunset

Picture this: lo-fi beats humming in the background, the sun sinking into the bay’s horizon, tropical cocktail sips between dips in the infinity pool. Right between the ocean’s edge and the cabana-lined pool, Edge Beach Club is where artisanal cocktails and cold beers are served alongside gourmet pizzas, towering club sandwiches and fragrant Thai dishes. It’s the kind of place where you sink into a rhythm – drifting from the bar to your circular poolside lounger, then to a shaded beachfront daybed before slipping straight into the ocean.

Hot tip: select packages can include free-flow beer and cocktail hours at Edge, which is well worth adding.

3. It’s located in one of Phuket’s most secluded bays…

"-"

The resort’s vast grounds limit public access to the beach, so guests have exclusive, direct access to one of Phuket’s best – and most secluded – stretches of coastline. The beach is best enjoyed lounging on the sand, cocktail in hand, but Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort takes it further, offering daily workshops with its Marine Biologist for a deeper dive into Makham Bay’s underwater kingdoms.

4. …but offers easy access to the island’s action

Seclusion doesn’t mean isolation. While the resort feels like a world of its own, it’s just a 20-minute taxi ride from charming Phuket Old Town. The district is a vibrant maze of colourful Sino-Portuguese buildings, where colonial-era architecture from the tin-mining days blends with Chinese influences, reflecting Thailand’s rich trading history.

If you can tear yourself away from the resort, wander through pastel streets, shop the bustling Sunday market and sample some of the island’s best street food. For those craving adventure, a trip to the Big Buddha or the surrounding Koh Phi Phi and Koh Hae islands is well worth your time.

5. It’s loved by families as much as couples

Pullman Panwa strikes the perfect balance between couples-oriented luxury and family-friendly fun. The spacious Family Room features two double beds, an outdoor bathtub and an expansive ensuite bathroom – the type of resort room where little ones cosy up between pool dips in their oversized robes to watch a movie. There’s also a dedicated kids’ pool with a slide, lined with cabanas for parents.

At Sapparot Club, Pullman’s signature kids’ club, kids will be so engaged in activities – from papier-mâché and origami to Thai dance and junior yoga classes – they’ll never want to leave. This gives parents the perfect opportunity to indulge in a spa treatment at Taya Spa.
