Actress and TV host Rebecca Gibney thought she knew what to expect in Washington, DC, a town made famous by its political history. But what she found instead was a town bursting with opportunities<\/a>. \u201cThe diversity in Washington, DC is incredible and there is so much to see and do,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think people think that it is all about politics but it is nothing like that.\u201d Rebecca and Cameron Daddo spent a week filming in and around the capital and were both taken by how different it is from other American cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was surprised by how calm it is,\u201d says Cameron. \u201cBecause no buildings can be taller than the Washington Monument there is a lot of sky and a lot of light and that feels different than the hustle and bustle that I was expecting; it\u2019s like one big neighbourhood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
