You won’t need to lift a finger at Thailand’s best all-inclusive resorts.

Few countries do the beach holiday better than Thailand. The water is warm, the food is extraordinary, and the distance from Australia is just far enough to feel like a proper escape. At these resorts – spanning Phuket‘s jungle-backed bays, Koh Samui‘s golden coast and the quieter sands of Hua Hin and Krabi – the all-inclusive package takes care of the rest: the meals, the drinks, the massages. The only decision left is which pool to lie beside.

All-inclusive resorts in Phuket

Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, Phuket

There’s nothing better than a generous all-inclusive package, and that’s what you’ll find at Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa, between the jungle-clad hills and ocean of Patong. Framed by palm trees and rolling greenery, with an ocean-view pool and a waterfall pool with a swim-up bar, it feels blissfully tucked away, yet it’s only five minutes from the action of Patong and 30 minutes from Phuket Old Town.

Meliá Phuket Mai Khao

Mai Khao is one of the few stretches of Phuket where sea turtles still nest, and Meliá Phuket Mai Khao makes the most of its position in this protected coastal strip – 20 minutes from the airport, a long way from Patong. The resort’s private villas and suites are built around a 52-metre pool that faces the Andaman Sea, with daybeds and tropical gardens filling the gaps between. Dining splits between Mediterranean flavours at Gaia and the all-day Thai and international buffet restaurant SASA, with a swim-up bar at The Luna Pool for juices and cocktails. YHI Spa anchors the wellness side of things. Horse riding on the beach, yoga at sunrise and visits to the resort’s partnered turtle foundation round out the activity options — though many guests, judging by the reviews, find the 52 metres of pool reason enough to stay put.

Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort

From the moment you arrive at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, you’ll settle into a five-star all-inclusive escape on Phuket’s west coast, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, swaying palms and sweeping views of the Andaman Sea. Spend sun-soaked days beside one of Thailand’s largest pools, cool off with a refreshing swim or discover the local marine environment at the resort’s Marine Biological Center, where hands-on experiences explore coral reefs, conservation and Phuket’s delicate underwater ecosystems.

With onsite dining, inviting resort facilities and plenty of space to unwind, each day flows easily from poolside relaxation to sunset drinks overlooking the water.
