The Danna Langkawi boasts a prime beachfront location on the west coast of Langkawi, beside a sheltered harbour at Telaga Harbour Park, and close to attractions such as Langkawi SkyBridge, Seven Wells Waterfall and the Oriental Village. The Danna Langkawi is located approximately a 20-minute drive from Langkawi Airport (LGK). Roundtrip airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

Refundable Cancellation Policy

Accommodation bookings can be cancelled with a full refund provided the cancellation is made no less than 60 days prior to check-in. That is cancel by 11:59 pm (local time of property) 60 full days prior to the day of check-in. Excludes flights.

Non-Refundable Cancellation Policy

Please note that ‘Non-Refundable’ packages are guaranteed at the time of booking and not eligible for a refund or date change. Accordingly, please select your package carefully and take note of any cancellation policy applicable to your purchase.

Update 18 March 2025, 7.30pm AEDT: For stays on 31 December 2025, an additional surcharge applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Charges are included in the room rate for two guests per room. For the Grand Merchant Two-Bedroom Suite, charges are included for four guests. For additional guests, the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner charge will be collected upon check-in.

Update 18 December 2024, 3.45 AEDT: Effective from January 1,2025, the new rate will be MYR10 per room per night for regular stays. For special events such as LIMA, Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman, the rate will be charged at MYR20 per room per night.

We had a great stay at The Danna in November. We stayed at the marina view room which was perfect: very clean, the bed was comfy with plenty of pillows to chose from, the bathroom was very spacious and was equipped with Jo Malone toiletries. The swimming pool is huge so never felt crowded. The beach was very well maintained although it had red flag out for the most of our stay due to jellyfish. If you book via hotel's website you can use sport equipment (kayak, paddle board) for free, otherwise you pay a small fee. The breakfast was great: plenty of choice of Indian, continental and oriental cuisine - our favourite was a fish curry. The hotel has several restaurants - we particularly enjoyed the italian one (great fried seafood and fantastic pizza and pasta). Service was very pleasant although a bit chaotic during breakfast time. The hotel is a 15 min drive from the airport and a 5 min drive to Langkawi bridge gondola station. There is plenty of parking space in front of the hotel. Our return flight was departing in the evening and we were allowed to checkout late. Overall the stay was great - very relaxing and hassle free - and we would definitely visit again!

*Exceptional Experience at The Dana Hotel!* Rating: 10/10 I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Dana Hotel with a large group, including kids. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The customer service was truly outstanding. Every interaction, whether at the lobby, buffet, or restaurant, was met with a smile and a willingness to help. The food was delicious, and the variety offered at the buffet was impressive. What truly sets The Dana Hotel apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Their warm hospitality and dedication to ensuring our stay was nothing short of fantastic. I highly recommend The Dana Hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch hotel experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! *Highlights:* - Exceptional customer service - Delicious food - Welcoming atmosphere - Perfect for groups and families *Will I return?* Absolutely!

Congratulations to the management and staff of this hotel. The hotel is definitely right up there amongst the best hotels in Malaysia. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. The overall service is superb and made you feel comfortable without being intrusive. No matter where you are throughout the hotel, the service level and friendliness is very evident which really shows that the staff are well trained and probably well taken care of by the management. The hotel has amazing views of the sea which gives you a very calm and peaceful stay there. It is also not crowded and you can really relax and enjoy all the restaurants and facilities without being rushed. Will definitely come back whenever we are back in Langkawi.

Good old school charm, but felt a bit outdated. Overall, food was excellent and was a complete stand-out experience in this resort. Rooms were Large and fine! Service could be a bit more welcoming and attentive in the pool area.
