ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen is located in the Tohoku region, on the northern edge of Japan’s largest island, Honshu, about 580 kilometres north of Tokyo. The resort is nestled in the scenic Appi Kogen area, renowned for its world-class ski slopes and powder-soft snow. Nearby landmarks include the Appi Kogen Ski Resort, ideal for winter sports enthusiasts and the peaceful Towada-Hachimantai National Park, known for its natural beauty and hiking trails.

The hotel is located approximately a one-hour drive from Iwate Hanamaki Airport (HNA), which receives flights from Shanghai and Taipei. If you’re travelling from Tokyo, the easiest route to Appi Kogen is via train and bus: the Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka takes approximately 2.5 hours and there’s a shuttle bus that goes directly from Morioka Station to Appi Kogen Ski Resort.
