Three days or three weeks — it all depends on what you want to experience. When planning a city stay in Adelaide, it's a good idea to allow for at least three days to enjoy the top attractions at a leisurely pace including the Adelaide Central Market and the gorgeous Botanic Gardens. If you're lucky, you might catch a game at the Adelaide Oval. With plenty of fantastic food and drink options in the CBD, you won't have to venture far to feast on South Australia's famous local produce, however if you allow for an extra day or two then it's well worth heading out to iconic wine regions including the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. If time isn't an issue, then don't miss the natural wonders of Kangaroo Island or the striking Flinders Ranges — both great additions to an Adelaide escape that require a little extra time.
