• Pick-Up Point: A complimentary shuttle is available from the South Pacific Helicopters office in Kaikoura town centre (58 West End, Kaikoura) and must be arranged in advance directly with South Pacific Helicopters. Pick-up is generally 45 minutes prior to flight departure time
• Check-in location: South Pacific Helicopters, 58 West End, Kaikōura 7300 New Zealand
• Departure point: Kaikoura Airport, 617 State Highway 1, Peketa, Kaikōura 7374
• Please arrive at departure location least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for check-in, pre-flight information session and safety briefing

Important:

• All guests must reconfirm their booking the day prior to their flight before 4pm. This allows South Pacific Helicopters to provide a specific check-in time and weather forecast
• Rates are valid for one person. Minimum of two people (3+) required to book for all flights
• Passengers aged 3+ are legally required to occupy their own seat and are therefore required to pay full ticket price
• Infants (0–2) may travel free of charge if they can sit comfortably on a parent’s/guardian’s lap and weigh under 18kgs. For bookings of more than one infant (0–2), please contact South Pacific Helicopters before booking as aviation conditions apply
• Children must be supervised by a parent or legal adult guardian at all times
• Complimentary shuttle service must be organised in advance. Space is limited and parents/guardians assume responsibility for car seats and child restraints for infants and young children
• All passengers and baggage will be weighed at time of check-in
• Helicopter flights are shared, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests. Please select a private charter if you do not wish to share

Terms & Conditions:

• Whale sightings are not guaranteed. For this reason, no refunds are given on completed flights if whales are not sighted
• Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
• Smoking, alcohol and drug consumption is strictly prohibited throughout the flight. Dangerous goods are not permitted in or around the aircraft
• All passengers are to conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger any person, damage any property on board the aircraft or obstruct the crew or pilot from performing their duties. Passengers are required to comply with any instructions given by the pilot
• Flights are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers to proceed. In the event of a cancellation by South Pacific Helicopters, the team will work to reschedule your flight for another day or provide a full refund. South Pacific Helicopters reserves the right to amend tour times or cancel trips at any time due to inclement weather, safety concerns, maintenance requirements, or any other reason
• South Pacific Helicopters will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service. South Pacific Helicopters works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by the operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage
