• Bookings are essential at least 48 hours in advance. Should Prince of Whales need to contact you regarding your reservation, they will do so via the email/phone number you have supplied upon making your booking
• Present printed or smartphone voucher upon arrival. Note: A government-issued photo ID (e.g., Passport, Driver’s License) and the credit card used to book the tour are also required at check-in for all bookings. The ID must match the name on the credit card used to purchase the tour, or otherwise your booking will be cancelled. Failure to present these will also result in cancellation.

Availability:

• Available every day in season: Departs at 5pm; returns by 9pm (approximately)
• Bookings are available seasonally from mid May – late September
• Bookings valid to 21 September 2025
• Departure point: Victoria Adventure Centre, 812 Wharf St, Victoria, BC V8W 1T3
• All passengers must arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in. Late arrivals and no-shows void offer and the vessel will not wait

Important:

• Exclusions: Meals, drinks (unless specified), and hotel transfers
• BYO food is permitted. Light snacks are available onboard for purchase (own expense)
• Passengers are not allowed to smoke (cigarettes, vapes, cigars), or consume alcohol or drugs while onboard
• Valid for sunset departure only
• Please allow up to 3–4 hours for this experience, including boarding and disembarking time
• Cruises are open seating and guests are welcome to move freely between designated seating and open-air areas of the vessel
• Unfortunately, the boat used for this adventure is not wheelchair accessible
• All vessels are fitted with on-board airline-style toilets
• Child policy: All children under 18 must be escorted by paying adults (18+). Children are welcome to cruise, however please keep in mind that you are on a vessel for up to four hours and sometimes children do get restless

• Whale Sighting Guarantee: If you don’t see any whales on your tour, you are welcome to go out again on the same or equivalent tour. Note that the 48-hour cancellation policy still applies for all bookings.
  • When you redeem your Whale Sightings Guarantee, the base fare/rate is complimentary. Fees and taxes still apply
  • Redemptions are first come, first serve and reservations are required to avoid disappointment
  • The Whale Sightings Guarantee is non-transferable and the name of the person redeeming the guarantee must match the name of the person on the original reservation
• Cruises are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather conditions at the discretion of Prince of Whales. They will be in touch under such circumstances
• Prince of Whales reserves the right to delay or cancel a departure if there are fewer than 20 guests reserved at the time of departure or in case of events beyond their control (adverse weather conditions, technical or mechanical issues, etc.)
• Vessels may be substituted without notice due to availability and maintenance requirements
