• Valid for the flight path selected at the time of purchase – please make your selection carefully

• It is recommended to book your flights early with flexibility for weather changes
• Helicopter flights are shared, meaning you will likely share your aircraft with other guests
• Each helicopter can hold up to six passengers or a maximum combined weight of 480kg
• All tours are subject to availability and weather. All passengers must receive a safety briefing prior to departure
• Please allow approximately one hour for check-in, safety briefing and your flight, including snow landing on Franz Josef Glacier

Terms & Conditions:

• Subject to conditions, infants aged 0–3 and weighing under 15kg are required to sit on an adult’s knee. Infants weighing more than 15kg will require their own seat
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying parent/adult guardian (18+)
• Flights, landings and routes may vary due to weather and the pilot’s discretion. Flight times are approximate and include your landing
• Minimum passenger numbers apply for flights. Bookings will be coordinated to achieve this where possible
• Prices include concession fees that contribute toward conservation and sustainability management
• A fuel surcharge may apply to the ticket price. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure, payable directly to The Helicopter Line. No fuel surcharge is presently applicable
• Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability. In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations
• The Helicopter Line will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service. The Helicopter Line works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by the operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage
• In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations. Please note, if half the paid tour was possible, the component not experienced will be refunded, not both
• All flights require a minimum number for departures, this varies at each base. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum number on the basis that bookings will be coordinated to achieve minimum numbers
• Should inclement weather prevent a flight at the booked location, the same prepaid voucher will be accepted at any of The Helicopter Line aviation bases for a flight of similar duration and price. This avoids the situation of refunds
