Embark on a journey into the wonderful Waipara Valley with an itinerary curated by renowned wine expert Giles. With no more than six guests per tour, this intimate experience includes visits to some of the most prestigious vineyards and wineries in the area. You will be taken into wine cellars and tasting rooms to sample some of the best wines in New Zealand, and enjoy a delicious lunch platter. This is a shared tour for two or more people, or you can opt for a private tour for six – larger groups means more savings so grab a crew together for a memorable day in the vines!

Sample Wineries Visited:
- Pegasus Bay Winery: Discover sustainable viticulture used to bring out the complex flavours and fruit character of the wines, featuring world renowned dessert wines and elegant Pinot Noirs
- Greystone Wine: Varieties include Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Giles’ favourite Riesling – also taste the wines from the adjacent Muddy Water Wines
- Torlesse Wines: Two ranges produced from four vineyard sites including the Winery Block and the Mackenzie Vineyards. Varieties include Gewurztraminer, Albarino and Port
- Terrace Edge: A dramatic landscape captured in liquid form. Taste their award-winning wines including St Laurent, Syrah and liquid Geography Riesling
- Georges Road: A truly boutique winery that has some of the most spectacular views and wines in the area
