Fly into Darwin to begin your NT adventure and check in to The H on Smith Hotel. Enjoy a dip in the inviting outdoor pool and settle in with dinner onsite at The D Bar & Restaurant, where locally sourced ingredients are combined in a fusion of asian flavours.
Day 2 lets you enjoy a relaxing day wandering the Darwin waterfront and shops, stopping in at Hanuman Restaurant for a delicious Thai feast at lunchtime before heading back to H on Smith for an afternoon dip in the pool. For dinner, head down to The Harbour to board a 2.5 hour sunset cruise. Run by expert guides and with premium food and drink available to purchase it’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and watch the sun dip behind the horizon.
Day 3 begins with a wild Jumping Croc Cruise along the Adelaide River, where you’ll come face to face with wild crocodiles - you’ll even get to watch them being fed by the trained guides. Afterwards, head to Hot Tamale for lunch, famous for their guac, tacos, cocktails and 300+ types of agave spirits. Stop by for an afternoon swim at the Darwin Waterfront and end the day at Pee Wee’s At The Point for local cuisine by the water.
Check out of H on Smith Hotel before getting picked up for a full-day Litchfield National Park Adventure Tour where you’ll explore Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls, Howard Springs Park and enjoy a swim in the large plunge pool at Wangi Falls. After a full day of exploring check in to Yellow Water Villas at Cooinda Lodge in Kakadu and enjoy a well-earned dinner at Mimi’s Restaurant found on-site, boasting sustainable bush flavours with a modern flair.
Day 5 begins with an hour long scenic flight over Kakadu National Park, which you’ll then venture in to explore on foot for the rest of the day. With an array of walking tracks, waterfalls and ranger-guided activities you’ll be spoilt for choice and surrounded by some of the most spectacular natural scenery you’ve ever seen. Head to Nawurlandja Lookout for a glorious sunset, watching the rockfaces light up as the sun goes down.
Relax throughout the morning of Day 6, cooling off in one of the two onsite swimming pools and exploring the surrounds of the ecolodge. For lunch, head to Anbinik Restaurant for some Thai food before making your way to the Kakadu Cultural Tour to learn with a local guide about the rich history of Kakadu and be transported across vast landscapes through storytelling and demonstrations.
Check out of Yellow Water Villas for your final day and drive back to Darwin City to explore the Parap Village Markets, with a range of creative independent stalls to explore. Head to the airport and fly home, bringing your 7 day NT Adventure to a close.
