NH Bentota Ceysands Resort is located on Kaluwamodara Point in Bentota, approximately halfway between the bustling capital of Colombo and the historic town of Galle. It is accessed by car and then a short boat ride across the river. The hotel is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$125 per adult (12+) and US$65 per child (2–11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort. Includes seasonal mocktails, pool access, pre-dinner “Journey of the World” cocktail party, international festive buffet, live music, dancing show, festive photo booth, special prizes and giveaways, fireworks by the beach and beverage deals.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily buffet breakfast is served at Café Bem from 7am to 10am.
• Daily lunch or dinner is a buffet, served at Café Bem. Lunch is served from 12.30pm to 3pm. Dinner is served from 7pm to 10pm.
• Daily free-flow drinks hours is available at Ceylon Club from 5pm to 6pm. Includes local beer, house wine, select cocktails, select spirits and soft drinks.
• Included spa treatments are valid at The Spa. The Spa is open from 10am to 7pm. Advance bookings are required.
• Maxies Family Club is open daily from 9am to 6pm for children aged 3 to 12. Children aged 3 to 6 years old must have a guardian present. Children aged 7 to 12 years old do not require a guardian.
• One child (11 years & under) may stay free with daily breakfast, free-flow hour (soft drink only) and a daily choice of lunch or dinner. Children sleep on existing bedding (excludes Family Suite Upgrade).
• For guests with accessibility needs, the hotel is accessible via car. Please contact the resort to arrange this transportation.

Return Private Airport Transfers Inclusions & Fine Print (select packages only)

• Valid for two guests
• Includes: A return private airport transfer, basic/sufficient English-speaking driver, airport parking fee, toll fee and one bottle of water per person.
• You will be required to update your transfer information after making your booking. Transfer information includes:
  • Flight number and arrival time
  • Child seats requirements
  • Number of pieces of luggage including large items
• You will receive an automated confirmation of your transfer when booking, with a final confirmation sent to you within seven days of your nominated travel date.
• Included transfers are valid for two guests only (excluding Family Suite package). Children staying free of charge, or any extra guests, are an additional cost.
• Transfers can accommodate up to two luggage pieces or suitcases (sedan) or four luggage pieces or suitcases (van) per vehicle. Fees may apply for excess baggage.
• A complimentary infant or child seat can be booked each way or guests may bring their own.
• The driver will wait for a delay of up to one hour. After that point, the transfer will be considered cancelled. It is recommended to have your phone available on arrival should your driver need to contact you.
