Availability:

• Available every day: Departs at 4.05am & returns by 10am (approximately)
• Pick-Up Point: Central gold coast accommodation (specify at the time of booking)
• Bookings valid to 30 June 2025
• Please ensure you are at the meeting location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for check-in. Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer

• Please allow up to six hours for this experience, including travel time
• Please note the hot air balloon flight is approximately one hour
• Unfortunately Hot Air cannot accomodate for wheelchair access as all passengers must climb into the 1.2m basket unassisted and stand for the whole flight
• Please come dressed as if you were taking a bushwalk with appropriate clothing and sturdy enclosed footwear. While the flight is gentle, landings can be bumpy and the basket may occasionally lay on its side with passengers lying horizontal for a short time
• Passengers who suspect they may be pregnant should check with their doctor before travel. Pregnant passengers are permitted to fly with the Hot Air up to 3 months (less than 13 weeks) of their pregnancy term. Pregnant persons beyond 3 months (13 weeks or more) of pregnancy are not permitted to fly

Terms & Conditions:

• Minimum age for participating in a hot air balloon ride is three years
• Children between three & five years require proof of age (either a picture of their passport or birth certificate)
• No broken bones or recent surgery at the time of flight
• Passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight
• Passengers should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder
• Must be in good general health
• A signed waiver of liability is required for all guests flying and/or riding in our vehicles
• Flights are subject minimum passenger numbers, weather and flying conditions and may be altered or cancelled at the discretion of Hot Air
• Hot Air is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries, or damages sustained from participation in hot air balloon tours or tethered hot air balloon rides
• For groups of less than nine people: cancellations made by the Hot Air due to inclement weather will entitle the customer to a full refund of the Fare Price
• For groups of 10 of more people: a deposit equivalent to 10% of the Fare Price on the booking will be retained by Hot Air as a booking fee
• Hot Air ballooning is an outdoor adventure activity using rural properties that can be uneven or overgrown for take off and landing

Cancellations:

• For groups of nine people or less:
  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies
• For groups of ten people of more:
  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
  • Cancellations within 7 days of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Booking:

• For groups of nine people or less: 72 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made
• For groups of ten people or more: 7 days’ notice is required
• Changes made within these timeframes will attract a A$50 per person re-booking fee payable immediately upon rebooking direct to the Hot Air

Please Note:

• Bookings for this offer are limited and subject to availability. Not valid with any other offer
• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
