Koh Tao, a small island 70km north of Koh Samui, offers year-round snorkeling. You’ll find diverse underwater landscapes, from shallow coral gardens to hidden bays, artificial reefs, caves, and towering pinnacles. Encounter white-eyed moray eels, blue-spotted fantail rays, porcupine and puffer fish, and a variety of reef fish. Lucky snorkelers may spot whale sharks, reef sharks, and other pelagics. Titan triggerfish add excitement, while turtles, sea snakes, and smaller marine life like nudibranchs and cleaner wrasses abound.
