Walk through the narrow, winding Siq until the rose-hued Treasury reveals itself in breathtaking silence. Continue to explore Petra’s wonders, from the Roman Theatre and Colonnaded Street to the Great Temple and Qasr Al Bint – also known as the Girl’s Palace.
Carved more than 2,000 years ago by the Nabateans, Petra’s blend of natural desert rock and architectural grandeur is unlike anywhere else on earth. Depart Petra and journey into the crimson desertscape of Wadi Rum – often called ‘the Valley of the Moon’. Along the way, visit Siq al-Barid, also known as ‘Little Petra’, to discover buildings carved into the sweeping rock formations.
On arrival at Rum village, you’ll join local Bedouins to explore the area. After check-in, enjoy lunch before being driven by local Bedouins in 4x4s and set off on a three-hour adventure through towering rock formations and sweeping sand dunes at sunset.

Today marks the end of one adventure and the start of another. Bid farewell to your newfound friends at breakfast before transferring back to Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman for a short flight south to Aqaba – Jordan’s southernmost city.
Upon arrival, make your own way to your next five-star hotel at the Kempinski on the shores of the Gulf of Aqaba. Take a second to breathe in the salty sea air and stroll down to the white sands of Kempinski Beach, or head to the hotel spa for a well-earned massage treatment.
Tonight’s dinner is at leisure before tomorrow’s embarkation on an all-inclusive Wonders of the Red Sea cruise.

Wake in your Kempinski king bed to stunning views over the Gulf and head to breakfast before a few hours at leisure. Spend your free time by the hotel pool before a midday checkout, then make your way through the port city.

By late afternoon, make your way to Aqaba Cruise Terminal and accept a welcome drink as you board your floating home for the next nine nights.

To the west coast of the Red Sea we go! Safaga is a charming and laid back town perfect for rest and relaxation. Safaga is small and quiet, and is renowned for its therapeutic hot springs.
