Availability:

• Available every day: Departure times vary based on sunrise – see booking calendar for more information
• Meeting Point: Within the Yarra Valley, between Yarra Glen or Healesville
• Meeting Time: Approximately an hour before sunrise and varies throughout the year
• Picture This Ballooning will be in touch to organise an exact meeting location and time after booking
• Please ensure you are at the pick up location at least 15 minutes prior to check-in. No shows or late arrivals will will not be eligable for a refund
• Bookings valid to 31 December 2025

Important:

• Complimentary car parking is available at 47 Bell Street, Yarra Glen
• Hot air balloon rides are shared, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests. The hot air balloon baskets accommodate as little as 2–4 passengers, all the way up to 20 guests at a time. Ample space is available in the baskets to accommodate groups sizes comfortably
• There are no weight restrictions for any of the tours. At the time of booking the weight of each passenger is collected to ensure proper weights and balances of the hot air balloon. This information helps allocate the appropriate amount of passengers per balloon for everyone’s comfort while ensuring passenger safety
• Please allow three hours for this experience. Please note the flight time is approximately 45–60 minutes
• Meals, drinks and transfers are not included
• Return transfers are available from Melbourne CBD for a surcharge from $60 per person, payable direct to Picture This Ballooning. Please contact vendor directly after booking to organise

Terms & Conditions:

• Valid for the day and package type selected at time of purchase – please make your selection carefully
• This experience is not suitable for children under 5, pregnant women or individuals with broken bones or those who have had recent surgery
• Passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight (approximately 60 minutes)
• Passengers must be in good general health and should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder
• A signed waiver of liability is required for all guests flying and/or riding in our vehicles
• Flights are subject to minimum passenger numbers, weather and flying conditions and may be altered or cancelled at the discretion of Picture This Ballooning
• Picture This Ballooning is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries, or damages sustained from participation in hot air balloon tours or tethered hot air balloon rides

Cancellations:

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure date: refunds are permitted, less a cancellation fee from A$150 per ticket
• Cancellations within 7 days of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: no refunds permitted
• Picture This Ballooning should be notified by telephone or email of any cancellation requests

Changes to Booking:

• 7 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
