• Available every day: Departure times available from 8.15am–4pm. Check-in time varies according to departure time

• Kayak Meeting Point: Kaikōura Kayaks, 19 Killarney Street, Kaikōura
• Flight Departure Point: Kaikoura Airport, 617 State Highway 1, Peketa, Kaikoura
• Please arrive at flight departure point at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for check-in, pre-flight information session and safety briefing

Important:

• Once you have booked, Kaikōura Kayaks will be in contact to schedule your kayaking tour
• Kayaking is suitable for all abilities. No previous kayaking experience is required
• All guests must reconfirm their booking the day prior to their flight before 4pm. This allows South Pacific Helicopters to provide a specific check-in time and weather forecast
• All passengers and baggage will be weighed at time of check-in. Large bags and backpacks will not be permitted on the flight, lockers are available at the terminal for use.
• Flights are shared, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests. Please select a private charter if you do not wish to share
• The recommended schedule is the 8:15am kayaking tour then followed by a whale watching flight at 1:00pm
• Please allow approximately five hours for this experience. Please note the flight portion of this experience is 30 minutes

Terms & Conditions:

• Rates are valid for one person. Minimum of two people (3+) required to book for all flights
• Passengers aged 3+ are legally required to occupy their own seat and are therefore required to pay full ticket price
• Infants (0–2) may travel free of charge if they can sit comfortably on a parent’s/guardian’s lap and weigh under 18kgs
• For bookings of more than one infant (0–2), please contact South Pacific Helicopters before booking as aviation conditions apply
• Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by a parent or legal adult guardian at all times
• The maximum weight limit is 135kg per passenger
• Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
• Whale sightings are not guaranteed. For this reason, no refunds are given on completed flights if whales are not sighted
• All flights are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers. Wings Over Whales and South Pacific Helicopters reserves the right to amend tour times or cancel trips at any time due to inclement weather, safety concerns, maintenance requirements, or any other reason. In the event of a cancellation by Wings Over Whales, the team will reschedule your flight or provide a full refund
• Smoking, alcohol and drug consumption is strictly prohibited throughout the flight. Dangerous goods are not permitted in or around the aircraft
• All passengers are to conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger any person, damage any property on board the aircraft or obstruct the crew or pilot from performing their duties. Passengers are required to comply with any instructions given by the pilot

Cancellations:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours of departure date: 50% cancellation fee apply
• Cancellations within 24 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Bookings:

• 48 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Bookings for this offer are limited and subject to availability. Not valid with any other offer
• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
