• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
• Cancellations within 48 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Booking

48 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

Availability:

• Available every day in season, subject to weather conditions:
• 1 November – 13 March: Departures at 1pm
• 14 March – 30 April: Departures at 10.30am and 2pm
• Note: Guests must check-in at least 45 minutes prior to departure time. Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer and no refunds apply
• Pick-up/Drop-off point: 1 Dallas Road, Fisherman’s Wharf, Victoria BC on Vancouver Island. Guests must make their own way to/from departure point
  • From Vancouver, the most common ways guests travel to Victoria are by BC Ferries, Harbour Air, West Coast Air and Helijet
  • From Seattle guests may travel by Victoria Clipper ferry (downtown Seattle to downtown Victoria) or with their vehicle by Washington State Ferry (Anacortes, 90 minutes north of Seattle, to Sidney, 30 minutes south of Victoria)
• Bookings available from 1 November 2024
• Bookings valid to 30 April 2025

Important:

• Exclusions: Meals, drinks, hotel transfers and transport to departure location. Any additional personal expenses must be paid directly to Eagle Wing Tours
• Bookings are limited and subject to availability. Please book early to avoid disappointment
• Viewing distances from wildlife:
  • The vessel maintains 200 metres in Canadian waters / 200 yards in American waters from Bigg’s killer whales; 100 metres for baleen whales such as humpback, minke and grey whales
  • This tour does not view the endangered southern resident killer whales
  • If the whales are along the San Juan Island shoreline, then the vessel maintains either 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile around Lime Kiln Park
  • There are two vessel no-go zones near Pender and Saturna Islands
  • For all other islands in the Salish Sea, the vessel maintains at least 200 metres (220 yards) if whales are inshore of the vessel
• Please allow between 3.5 and up to four hours for this experience, including boarding and disembarking
• This tour travels into open waters, which may be choppy at times; taking motion sickness tablets prior to departure is recommended

Terms & Conditions:

• All children under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a supervising adult guardian or parent
• Cruises are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled for passenger and crew safety
• Vessels are subject to change depending on availability
• Wildlife sightings are likely but cannot be guaranteed
• Minimum numbers apply for boat tours to proceed. If a trip fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled
• Eagle Wing Tours are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items, including all audio visual and camera equipment
• Open boat tours are not recommended for people with neck, back, joint injuries or conditions, pregnant people or small children
