- Please allow a minimum of four hours to drive from Queenstown and a minimum of two hours to drive from Te Anau
- Free parking is available at Deepwater Basin, located a 40-minute scenic walk from the Visitor Terminal. Paid parking is available a 10-minute walk from the Terminal from NZD10 per hour. If you arrive and pay for parking after 3pm, an hourly rate from NZD5 per hour will apply
- Please note, wheelchairs and prams can be brought on board as long as they fold to fit through the entrance of the boat

- Child rate applies for children aged 4–14. Children aged 3 and under are considered to be infants and are free of charge but are still required to be listed when booking. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult/guardian aged 18+
- Cruises are weather-dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled at the discretion of Mitre Peak Cruises for passenger and crew safety
- Minimum numbers apply for tour to proceed. If a tour fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled
