Follow the ancient paths of the Silk Road on a 24-day discovery tour of Central Asia. Start in historic Bishkek, then experience a Kyrgyz eagle hunting demonstration at Lake Issyk-Kul and walk Skazka ‘Fairytale’ Canyon before settling in for an evening at a unique yurt camp. Continue to Kazakhstan and soak in Ak-Suu Hot Springs, before venturing through the mountainous Kolsai Lakes en route to Almaty.
Gaze upon the blue tiles of Registan Square in Samarkand. In Turkmenistan, float in the underground waters of Kow Ata, then look into the long-lasting flame of Darvaza Gas Crater, known as the ‘Door to Hell’. As your Silk Road adventure comes to an end, visit the Tillya Sheikh Mosque in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent, home to one of the world’s oldest copies of the Quran.
