A 25-minute scenic drive from Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL), the 200-year-old Stok Palace Leh is a heritage property nestled in the majestic Ladakh mountains. The snug abode of the royal Namgyal dynasty since the 10th century, the majestic palace lies close to the quaint Leh town. Popular nearby tourist attractions include Thiksey Monastery (a 25-minute drive), Hemis Monastery (a 40-minute drive) and Shanti Stupa (a 30-minute drive).

Bookings (except for tour bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Luxury Escapes credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Luxury Escapes credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 45 days before your original check-in date. • Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Meals will be served as set menu or buffet at the hotel’s discretion.
• The hotel has two restaurants — Willow Kitchen at Chulli Bagh and Dining Room at the Palace.
• All meals will be served at the Lounge, Dining Room or rampart for guests staying at the Palace. In case they want to dine at Chulli Bagh’s Willow Kitchen, guests need to inform the hotel in advance.
• Breakfast is served between 9am and 11am.
• For those staying at Chulli Bagh, lunch is served between 12.30pm and 3pm. And for those staying at the Palace, lunch is served between 1pm and 2.30pm.
• For those staying at Chulli Bagh, dinner is served between 5pm and 10pm. And for those staying at the Palace, dinner is served between 7pm and 9pm.
• The Ladakhi set-menu experiential meal is based on the chef’s special menu and is a cyclical menu. It can be served in the Dining Room of the Palace or the ramparts.
• Stok Monastery can be visited during morning prayers at 6am or during evening prayers between 4.30pm and 5pm.
• Stok Palace tour can be arranged according to the guest’s preferences.
• Local village tour will take place at 9am, for guests staying 4+ nights.
• It is suggested that guests stay for a minimum of 3 nights to experience mountain biking so as to get acclimatised to the high altitude. The experience can be availed for limited hours only.
• Stok Palace Leh is a heritage property, so the rooms may vary in size and design.
• There is no Wi-Fi, intercom or air-conditioning facilities at Stok Palace Leh. There is no elevator or wheelchair access.
• The use of plastic is not encouraged by the hotel and complimentary drinking water is made available in glass bottles.
• Smoking is only permitted outdoors.
• Pets are not allowed.
