July 25th: Arrive in Paris

Arrive in Paris after 3:30PM. You'll take your spot in your Deluxe 5 star hotel near the Champs-Elysees. At 6:30PM meet a guide for ticket delivery. Your special location will allow you to explore the world's most beautiful avenue within seconds of your hotel room

July 26th: VIP finish

An unforgettable day and night in Paris! The evening finish of the Tour de France allows you to enjoy a full day in Paris. Whether it's shopping, visiting heritage sites or taking in the culture, Paris has something for everyone. You can also watch the women race organized on the Champs Elysées previous the men. In the early evening you'll take your places in the Grand Palais VIP tribune, located just in front of the finish line. A drink service (soft drinks) and a small Tour de France gift are included. You are perfectly placed to watch the final laps before the final sprint that will take place directly in front of you. After the sprint, you'll share this great moment with the riders and then as the teams come down the avenue you'll have access for photos and autographs. Then watch the final podium presentations including the final yellow jersey presentation of the world's greatest race.

The evening will be finished with a fabulous experience. Enjoy the privatized the roof top of your 5 star hotel. Gourmet appetizers and a quality open bar with Champagne will allow you to enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

20 July: Arrive In Grenoble

Pick up by the guide at 2:00 pm at the Grenoble train station for a van transfer to Les deux Alpes. At the hotel, your biking guide will verify the bikes and give a general briefing about your trip. A professional photographer will also proceed to check your equipment and give you the first lines of work for the week.

21 July: Galibier

This first day of cycling starts with a downhill ride off Les Alpes then starts climbing regularly towards Col du Galibier. Take advantage of this 'more regular' grade, because it doesn't last forever. You will need to have strong legs and strong mind to get to the top.  'Challenging' riders who still have gas in the tank can attack another climb up 2 Alpes back to the hotel. Le Galibier is located on the 'roof of the Alpes'. Magnificent panoramas will allow you to sharpen your skills under the valuable advice from your teacher.

Distance: 105km (65 miles) total climb 3400m (11 150 ft).

22 July: Col d'Izoard

Col d'Izoard was the stage for a great fight last year on the Tour de France. This year you will live it! Transfer in a van near Guillestre to allow you to attack this legendary Tour col its best and most famous side. Once at the top, you switch to Briancon, magnificent citée Vauban, for lunch and continue the battle on the other side of Lautaret. Photographers will follow the cyclists in their adventure in the alpine landscapes and later work within the urban settings of Briancon.

Distance: 114 km (71 miles) total climb 3412m (11,200 ft)
Lodging/food: Le Souleil d’Or, a beautiful 3 star hotel in Les 2 Alpes. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner are included. 

23 July: Col de Sarenne & Watch Tour de France

The tour really happens in the north of the Alps and you'll be there to welcome the professional riders. Before that, you may try out the ascension of the wild and protected Sarenne col to reach the summit of Alpe d'Huez. You will descent to Allemont on a balcony type road where you will be ringside to watch the legendary Caravan as well as runners. Your VIP photo spot will allow you to comfortably watch the show. After the race goes by and your memory card is full it's time to go back to your hotel on Les 2 Alpes by a secret route. The photographer will debrief with each of you to provide an expert eye on your shots.

Distance: 81 km (50miles) Total climb 2400m (7870ft).

24 July: Alpe d’Huez ascent by night in the party!

Extraordinary day ahead! It starts quietly with a morning dedicated to relaxing in Les 2 Alpes and including complimentary hammam and sauna access plus a 30 minute massage. The Tour is far from our location so we might as well comfortably watch it on the screen. The photographer will propose to do outdoor shots as well as custom debriefings on your shots. The action starts in the early evening with the Alpe d'Huez NIGHT ASCENSION. Climb the 21 mythic turns in an atmosphere to die for. The Dutch village, the Germans and their mobile tavern, the Norwegian party dressed as vikings at bend 4, the camping car staying on balance in the ditches. It is an unprecedented experience you will never forget! The return to the hotel will be in van for security reasons.

Distance: 20 km (12miles) Total climb 1800m (5900 ft)
Lodging/food: Le Souleil d’Or, a beautiful 3 star hotel in Les 2 Alpes. Breakfast & lunch included. 

25 July: Crazy mountain stage!

This is the last stage to dispute the victory of the Tour de France and you will be in the Alpe d'Huez to enjoy the show! After the unprecedented climb of the previous night, you will climb again a few switchbacks to wait for the champions on a VIP spot organized by your guide. From there, you will really feel the spirit and atmosphere of the Tour. The spot selected by the photographer will allow to inmortalize the caravan, the race and the unique thrilling atmosphere. The return to the hotel will be in van or bike as determined by the guide at the time.

26 July: Departure Grenoble

It's time to say good-bye. After breakfast, you guides will leave you at the train station at Grenoble around 11 am

 19 July: Arrive In Aix en Provence TGV Station or Marseille Airport

Pick up by the guide at 1:00 PM at Marseille Airport or 2:00 PM the TGV train station at Aix en Provence. Van transfer to your resort at les Orres. Bike set up and briefing by the guide. Dinner together in town.

20 July: Ride & VIP finish Gap 

You already waited long enough for your first VIP access to the Tour de France and getting on the bike! So, after a short transfer by van you will go through the beautiful roads along the lake to arrive in Gap where the finish line is located. Your guide will take you to the best seats in town for a VIP's view of a mountain finish, in the VIP Izoard finish line area! This is a reserved place on the finish line with large screen tour broadcasting, an open bar and snacks. What better way to cheer your champion across the finish line then with a toast of Champagne. Return to the hotel for a full night's rest. 

Distance: 40km (25 miles), total climb 840m (2800 ft)

21 July: Col d'Izoard 

This is a rest day for the Tour de France so you might as well take advantage to tackle one of the legends of the Tour de France: Col de l'Izoard (15.9 km / 6.89%).  Start from the hotel by bike, downhill then the valley will provide a nice warm-up before engaging the col from its most beautiful side. Once at the top do not forget your souvenir picture (Done!). Return to the hotel by van. Another itinerary is provided for the less seasoned, bordering the lake to allow you to enjoy this beautiful day of cycling. 

Distance: Moderate 47 km (29 miles), Total climb 740m (2400 ft) / Challenging: 80 km (48 miles) Total climb 1915 m (6300 ft).
Lodging/Food: a beautiful Ski resort apartments in les Orres. Breakfast, lunch included. 

22 July: Cross Finish line Pra-Loup 

 The challenging group will leave the hotel by bike to reach the station Pra-Loup. The moderate group will be transfered further down the route to keep enough strength. Strength that will need to climb the 9.4 km at 5.9%. You will cross the finish line a couple hours before the pros, climb on the podium for pictures. You have access to the technical zone of the finish line where you will see your champions. After the Tour finish you continue in a van transfer to your Hotel. 

Distance: Moderate 26 km (16 miles) total climb 880m (2900ft), Challenging 73km (45 miles) total climb 1560m (5100ft)

23 July: Col du Galibier

The legend of the Tour in the Alps is in today's program: The Col du Galibier! After a van transfer at the foot of the Col your goal is to reach St Jean de Maurienne, on the other side of the Massif, before the pros' arrival to watch the parade. But before thinking about the finish line you have to climb the “roof of the Alps!” With almost 36km of pure climbing, your legs may say “pause”. No problem,  logistics support is there in case you get stuck! Once on the other side you'll witness the sought after finish line in St Jean de Maurienne. A short transfer by van takes us to our next hotel turned into our headquarters in the middle of the action! 

Distance: 66 km (41 miles) total climb 1560m (4000ft)
Lodging/Food: a charming 3 star hotel in St Sorlin d'Arves. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included. 

24 July: Watch the race & Ascent Alpe d'Huez by night 

Yesterday was a hard day so the program is a little softer this morning. The advantage of our location is that race will pass in front of the hotel so you can choose to relax here and enjoy the mountain village while waiting for the publicity caravan and riders or your guide can take you to the stage departure in St Jean de Maurienne to experience the atmosphere of the departure of a big stage. For you, the action really begins after the race in the early evening with the NIGHT ASCENT of the Alpe d'Huez. A short transfer by van will take you to the valley of Oisans where the adventure begins! Climb the 21 mythic turns in an atmosphere to die for. The Dutch village, the Germans and their mobile tavern, the Norwegian party dressed as vikings at bend 4, the camping car staying on balance in the ditches. it is an unprecedented experience you will never forget! The return to the hotel will be in van for security reasons. 

Distance: 26 km (16 miles) total climb 1205m (3950ft)
Lodging/Food: a charming 3 star hotel in St Sorlin Breakfast, lunch included. 

25 July :Crazy mountain stage! 

This is the last stage to dispute the victory of the Tour de France and you will be in Alpe d'Huez to enjoy the show! After the unprecedented climb of the previous night, you climb again a few switchbacks to wait for the champions on a VIP spot organized by your guide. From there, you really feel the spirit and atmosphere of the Tour. The selected spot will allow you to capture the caravan, the race and the unique thrilling atmosphere. Return to the hotel by van. 

Lodging/Food: a charming 3 star hotel in St Sorlin. Breakfast, lunch included.

26 July: Transfer to Paris & Finish on Champs Elysées 

The morning has been designated for travel to Paris by train. In the afternoon join the group for the Grand Finale of your VIP access: the Izoard Bus. Once inside, you'll watch the arrival of the riders from an amazing VIP space almost touching the finish line. An open bar with snacks and Champagne toast the arrival of the riders to help ease you into the evening. A giant screen will allow you to watch the race live as the riders make their way to Paris. The finishing laps will no doubt have everyone out of their seats. You'll then have access to the technical area and the team buses and riders. Now that the Tour De France is over the riders will have much less pressure and will be available for photos and autographs. All you have to do is show up and enjoy! The evening will come to a wonderful close with a privatized rooftop experience in Paris. Gourmet appetizers and a quality open bar will allow you to enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

27 July: Departure day 

It's time to say good-bye. After breakfast, you are free to stay in Paris for few days or catch connection for other international destinations.
