What you'll see
Chitose

Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at New Chitose Airport (CTS), a transfer will bring you to your hotel. Check-in and settle in for the start of a memorable golfing journey through Hokkaido.

Japan’s northernmost island is a summer golfing haven – its mild climate, fresh mountain air and long daylight hours provide the perfect playing conditions during the warmer months. From volcanic backdrops to cool pine forests, Hokkaido’s natural beauty sets the stage for some of the finest and most scenic golf in the country.

Take the evening to relax before your days on the green begin tomorrow.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar

Today, you will be collected from the hotel and transferred to Katsura Golf Club – regarded by many as Japan’s finest course – for a round to begin your golfing adventure. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior, this expansive course has been carved through old-growth forests of Katsura trees and rolling hills. Known for its generous fairways and quiet, secluded atmosphere, it’s the ideal introduction to the rhythm of golf in Hokkaido. Work your way around strategic bunkers and subtly contoured greens, a gentle but thoughtful challenge where no two holes run parallel to each other.

After your round, transfer back to the hotel and relax for the evening.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred for your second round of golf to Hokkaido Brooks Country Club, one of the region’s premier courses designed to complement the surrounding scenery. Expect lush fairways and expansive greens, with flowing brooks, sand traps, birch trees and pine woodlands adding to the challenge. The course was built to championship standards, providing the ideal setting for a rewarding test of course management and distance control.

Return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest after a long day on the green.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast

Fuel up this morning and transfer to a favoured course among the professionals, The North Country Club, a tour-level course designed by Japanese golf legend Isao Aoki. This is a bold and open layout with pristine bent grass turf, shimmering lakes and strategic bunkering throughout. While it’s a formidable course for top-level players, it remains accessible and enjoyable for casual players.

After a day on these storied fairways, return to the hotel to unwind.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast
Sapporo, Chitose

Today, take a break from the fairways and set out to discover Hokkaido’s capital, Sapporo.

While famous for its winter season, there’s plenty to see during a Sapporo summer. In the heart of the city you’ll get a glimpse of an ever-changing seasonal promenade, Odori Park, that stretches for more than 1.5 kilometres and is filled with flowers, art installations and fountains. At its eastern end is the Sapporo TV Tower, the ideal place to ascend for panoramic views of the city.

Beer enthusiasts will love the Sapporo Beer Museum, a redbrick relic of Japan’s brewing history where you can sample the famous local brews. Get a bird’s-eye view of the urban landscape and Ishikari Bay on the Mount Moiwa Ropeway, and discover the island’s culinary secrets at Nijo Market where you can sample some fresh local seafood.

Upon your return to the hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast

Prepare for another day on the green at breakfast before transferring to Hokkaido Golf Club to take on the Lion Course, one of two scenic courses designed by Shunsuke Kato. Reminiscent of traditional Scottish links, this undulating course features strategic bunkering and fairways, demanding precision and confident shot-making with a backdrop of distant peaks.

A transfer will bring you back to the hotel later this evening to recharge after a challenging round.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast

Return to the Hokkaido Golf Club after breakfast today to wrap up your week of golf on the Hokkaido Golf Club’s Eagle Course, the Lion’s shorter and more technical counterpart modelled after American links. With tighter landing zones and featured water hazards, the Eagle Course places a premium on-course strategy and short game finesse. Expect an intimate, cerebral round that rewards precision over power – an excellent way to round out the week’s variety.

Transfer back to the hotel for your final evening in Hokkaido.

Inclusions
ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose or similar
Breakfast

After breakfast, wave goodbye to a thrilling week of golf and transfer to New Chitose Airport (CTS) for your onward journey.
