Have stayed here previously and enjoyed the stay. However this time the hotel was a bit of a let down. There is no information sheet explaining where things are, nothing on how to operate TV or streaming services that don’t work. It is supposed to have a kitchen you can use to cook. We had 1 small saucepan and the insert of a steamer (the bit with holes). What you are supposed to do with that I don’t know. Dishwasher had broken piece that was rusted so did not use. Main bedroom window can’t close as catch is rusted.

The accommodation has great views and an excellent location but is let down by poor maintenance. The floor was dirty, the couch stained, and some lamps didn’t work. The appliances weren’t clean, the air conditioner was dusty and rattling, and the toilet leaked and flushed itself repeatedly. The pool was nice, but some of rubbish around it wasn’t cleared during our stay. On the positive side, the hospitality staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any requests. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel welcome and were the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the neglect in maintenance. With proper upkeep, this place could truly shine.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently stayed at the Mantra Geraldton, and it was incredibly disappointing. The property is extremely run-down and in desperate need of a makeover. The room I stayed in was filthy, very old, and far from the standard you'd expect for the price they charge. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, they openly acknowledged that they hear the same complaints daily from guests. It's clear that management is aware of the issues but has done nothing to address them. For the high price, I expected so much more. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here until significant improvements are made.
