Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of USD1300 per adult (12+) and USD650 per child (2–11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of USD620 per adult (12+) and USD310 per child (2–11) applies for the compulsory Christmas Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
Return seaplane transfers:
- Seaplane transfers are mandatory and are the only way to get to the resort.
- A surcharge of USD1,350 per adult (12+) and USD675 per child (2–11) applies for return seaplane transfers. Infant is complimentary seated on a parents’ lap.
- Duration: approximately 40 minutes between Male’ airport and JOALI Maldives.
- Operational Hours: Only available during daytime hours from 6am to 3.30pm.
- Baggage Allowance: 20kg per person + 5 kg hand luggage (extra baggage will be charged at USD5.00 + 16% Tourism GST per way, per kg).
- Please note that seaplanes may make a brief stop at other resorts which may extend the total travel time.
- The waiting time will be approximately two hours from the time of check-in and is dependent on airline operations and weather conditions.
- Flight schedules are received the night prior to the date of transfer. The transfers to and from JOALI Maldives will be booked by the resort based on guest’ international flight arrival/ departure time.
- Please note that the resort requires international flight numbers no later than 7 days prior to arrival.
- Private seaplane transfers are also available at an additional cost.
