I thoroughly enjoy every stay I have had with the Intercontinental team. The stand out for me are the staff- superb customer service and hearing your name from greetings is very special. I'm currently trying another 5-star hotel venue in Perth the the difference in customer service and treatment is astounding. I feel safe at Intercontinental, as a solo female traveller I always know they will realise if I ever go missing or don't appear that they'll check my room. 😂😅 Intercontinental win hands down and have a customer for life. The hotel room and hotel are always in a high state of cleanliness and quality. A wonderful hotel located in the heart of Perth, surrounded by wonderful restaurants, close to the train/bus station and ferry. The Perth zoo is over the water amd Kings Park a lovely 20minute walk away. I highly recommend Intercontinental for your next holiday. My only negative and this is me struggling- a seat near the front doors to take shoes off but really- that's the wildest notion.

Had additional charges put on my bill and had a prescription stolen my the concierge after recovering from emergency surgery in Perth hospital . They did nothing ! Even though I followed the concierge Justin to the pharmacy watched him pull it out of his pocket and lie that the pharmacist did it. Even though I tried to discuss this with management 3-4 times nothing was done

I stayed at this hotel with my family in December for 2 nights and booked a Club Room, which included access to the Club Lounge. During breakfast, a staff member informed me that since I had a child, I could use the evening cocktail service at the lobby lounge instead. They even asked if I wanted to make a reservation and confirmed it for December 22nd at 5 PM. However, when we arrived at the lobby lounge, we were told there was no reservation under my name. When I asked why, the staff dismissed the issue, claiming there were no seats available. They then offered us a seat in a corner near the kitchen, asking if we were okay with sitting there. The Asian staff member who assisted us showed no accountability or professionalism throughout the interaction, which was incredibly disappointing. I was with my child and didn’t want to make a scene, so we accepted the seat, but I was appalled by the attitude of the staff. This was a clear mistake on the hotel’s part, yet the staff handled it with indifference and no apology. This experience has left me with a very negative impression of the hotel’s service quality. I expected much better from a hotel of this level. I cannot recommend this hotel based on the attitude and handling of this situation.
