Excellent location in the heart of Hobart. I booked a corner room and the views of Hobart were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless, so clean and tidy. Best hotel room o have stayed in, only one suggestion have pillows of different sizes, there are only large pillows which are no good for stomach sleepers. Perfect getaway spot, thank you so much Crowne.

The Crowne Plaza is the prefect hotel for travellers to Tasmania arriving in Hobart. We stayed here last year and again this year, as the location is perfect and the hotel is quiet and a great place to relax and rest after a long flight from the UK. The staff are very helpful and then service across the hotel is great. They rooms are spacious (our room this year had a great view of Mt Wellington!), the buffet breakfast is superb (try the omelette!!) and the hotel is a short walk to the harbour, restaurants and other sights. Drop off and pick up outside is easy - we picked up a hire car from Avis around the corner and pulled up outside to collect our luggage. Definitely recommend this place.

Superb staff, amazing rooms and good location. The parking situation is my only gripe. But other than that perfect stay. Bar staff are sometimes not as friendly. But the breakfast buffet team is fantastic. The reception team is awesome too. The ones that require special mention are the concierge team. Very helpful and professional.

If you enjoy a quiet nights sleep, this is not the hotel for you. Doesn’t seem to matter what room you get, all you can hear at night is the bass from nearby nightclubs, the plumbing from the rooms above and next door and every person as they walk down the hallway. We recently stayed at this hotel for 9 nights and tried moving rooms several times due to the noise and lack of sleep, however every room was just as bad and management just kept playing dumb and promising that the next room would be less noisy. We had breakfast included in our package and whilst staff in the restaurant were friendly, we did encounter problems with not been listed as having breakfast included on our first morning with reception staff attempting to charge us for breakfast on checkout. After checkout we found charges on our credit card for mini bar items when we never used the mini bar. Based on our experience, this hotel is not worth the money they are charging and we will not be staying again.
