Accommodation bookings can be cancelled with a full refund provided the cancellation is made no less than 31 days prior to check-in. That is cancel by 11:59 pm (local time of property) 31 full days prior to the day of check-in. Excludes flights.

Speedboat Transfers:

The resort is located approximately a 25-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort can be reached by complimentary speedboat transfers, available for all guests.
Transfer timings are arranged based on your flight arrival/departure time, if you are arriving on an international flight. If you require a transfer from another resort or island, transfer timings are organised based on your local transfers.
Timings for your transfer will be confirmed the night before your arrival.
Please contact the resort directly at reservations-ihuru@dhawa.com with your flight details at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.
Transfers are subject to weather conditions.

Please Note:

Compulsory Christmas Eve Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of US$154 per adult (12+) and US$80 per child (4-11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$215 per adult (12+) and US$110 per child (4-11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
Compulsory Return Boat Transfers: For stays from 1 November 2022, mandatory roundtrip speedboat transfers from Malé must be booked in conjunction with your package for an additional surcharge of US$200 per adult (12+) or US$100 per child (4-11). Prices quotes include taxes.

We have been to the Maldives a few times and Dhawa Ihuru is one of the best we have been to. We loved that it was a small island with a laid back feel, you can kick off your shoes when you arrive and don't need them during your stay. It's also a short boat ride from Male so no need for seaplanes which was a bonus. It's the staff that make the island feel special, providing a warm friendly welcome and fantastic service. The food was fab, great choice at breakfast, lunch & dinner. Dinner alternated between a buffet and a la carte. The seafood & curries were delicious and always lots of fresh fruit. The snorkeling is good and definitely recommend going on the dolphin cruise, we saw lots of dolphins close up. We would definitely recommend a stay here & looking forward to returning.

We had 9 days on the island - choosing for the first time a boat transfer from the airport so a resort closer to the main island. The resort was small and just what we wanted. The staff were great - getting the balance between service and engagement spot on. The dive centre and gym were the best I have experienced in the Maldives . The chalets were secluded enough with essentially your own beach with sun beds and swings for each chalet. We will definitely be back

Dhawa Ihuru ticks all the boxes for an on the beach holiday! If you want privacy, you have it, cosy villas right on the gorgeous sandy beach. If you want company, you have it, friendly island style community. If you want great snorkelling, you have it, and you have a choice of Dhawa Ihuru's reef or a complimentary 5 min boat ride to sister island Banyan Tree reef. Highly recommend booking at least one snorkelling session with Vijam to introduce you to Dhawa Ihuru's reef. If you want varied cuisine and delicious food, you have it. Henry, from sister island Banyan tree, does complimentary short reef sustainability snorkel sessions where you can help count the sea life fauna, or remove unwanted debris or undesirable starfish etc.. We highly commend Banyan Tree for this endeavor! And Henry is a great source of information for all things marine. But Dhawa Ihuru is fantastic because of it's great service and staff. 🤗 They also have a great Spa experience to massage away all your stress, and a gym if you really want to use up every minute.. And the people who make it so; Husham - A true gentleman and friend of our heart, happy and enjoyably humorous. Vijam - Fantastic snorkel guide, generous of spirit. Ace underwater photographer. Elena - Exceptional organiser/concierge ! Secret model! Sujeena - Sweet and kind, looks after you absolutely. Adam - Quietly spoken gentleman, attentive to your needs. Shareef - Quietly happy and helpful, always there to look after you. Pawan - Great chef and a master of Indian cuisine. Rizwan - Intelligent and humorous and kind. Arjun - Fantastic Grill chef. Asith - Culinary fruit magician! Sunil - Happy face at breakfast. Aizud - Happy and friendly. Hannane - Gentle and fun, great customer service! Nish - Bar tender extraordinaire. Rohit - Really nice guy. Afruu- Happy and friendly. Moosa - Friendly, happy and welcolming. Always has a welcoming smile. M. Sharif - Takes time to show you flora of the island, nice! Dhawa Ihuru is a fantastic resort that offers a truly luxurious experience. From the stunning beachfront villas to the exceptional service, every aspect of the stay is designed for relaxation and indulgence. The dining options are diverse and delicious, and the resort’s amenities, including the spa and recreational activities, are top-notch. However, it's worth noting that some rooms had issues with the jacuzzi, which required replacement during our stay. While it is on the pricier side, the quality of the experience justifies the cost. The beautiful surroundings, impeccable service, and attention to detail make it a memorable and worthwhile getaway. Highly recommended for a high-end tropical retreat!
