Getting to Heron Island is easy. Fly to Gladstone, Queensland. Seaplanes depart Gladstone for Heron Island daily (subject to tide times). A launch service also departs Gladstone Marina for Heron Island on scheduled days (excluding Tuesdays, Thursdays and Christmas Day). Click here for more information.

Airport transfers are not included in your package. Transfers from Gladstone Airport cost approximatly AU$64 per person, please contact the hotel directly for more information and bookings.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Within 7 days of purchase we’ll happily provide a full refund on cancellation of your escape (so long as you don’t have a confirmed booking/stay in the next 14 days).

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults, two children and one infant. See the ’ Child Policy’ below:

Child Policy: Up to two children (aged 12 years and under) may stay free of charge sleeping on existing bedding (one queen bed) with accommodation and breakfast only.

Baby Policy: One infant (aged two years and under) may stay free of charge and will not count towards maximum occupancy. A cot can be provided by the resort free of charge.

Reef Room - Packages are valid for two adults

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is three adults and one infant OR two adults, two children and one infant. See the ’ Extra Guest Policy’ below:

Extra Guest Policy: An additional guest (aged 13 years and above) may stay for a surcharge of AU$63 per night, sleeping on a rollaway bed with accommodation, nightly drink and breakfast only. Payable directly to the resort.

Child Policy: Up to two children (aged 12 years and under) may stay free of charge sleeping on existing bedding (one queen bed and one single day bed) with accommodation and breakfast only.

Baby Policy: One infant (aged two years and under) may stay free of charge and will not count towards maximum occupancy. A cot can be provided by the resort free of charge.

Connecting rooms are not available.

Please note, boat transfers to the resort do not run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Transfers are not included in your package but we recommend booking directly with the hotel to avoid confusion.
