What you'll see
Hobart, Port Arthur

Your epic walking adventure begins this morning at 7.45am. You will be picked up from your meeting point, the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, and transferred to the historic town of Port Arthur.

Start your first walk at Remarkable Cave, following an undulating trail through heath-covered dunes. Keep on the lookout for spiky echidnas waddling just off the track. Stop at the phenomenal 40-metre-deep Maingon Blowhole before continuing to Mount Brown. The ascent is steep, but the breathtaking panoramas at the summit are well worth the effort. Look out over Cape Pillar, Tasman Island, Arthurs Peak and, further south, Cape Raoul and Bruny Island. Today's walk will take approximately five hours and is classified as moderate to hard.

Finish your walk at the beautiful Crescent Bay beach. The cold, crystal-clear waters offer a chance to cool off, while the golden sand invites you to sit and stretch out under the sun. Afterwards, check-in at your accommodation, where your bags await. Pre-dinner nibbles are served before a delicious (and well-deserved!) two-course dinner.
