Meet your group at Adelaide Airport (ADL) where you’ll catch your included flight to Port Lincoln at 1pm. Upon arrival, your local guide will greet and escort you to your accommodation at Port Lincoln Hotel before providing an overview of the exciting days ahead.
After settling into your room, freshen up for a brief tour of the town. This will be your chance to set sight on the Eyre Peninsula and get your first taste of ‘Australia’s Seafood Frontier.’ Take in the crisp atmosphere off Boston Bay as you drive along Tasman Terrace and Liverpool Street, discovering the countless provedores and crafters who have set up shop in this quaint seaside town. You’ll pass the life-size bronze statue of Makybe Diva, Port Lincoln’s three-time Melbourne Cup champion, and watch ships as they dock along the Port Lincoln Marina.
Round out the day with a dinner at Del Giorno’s Cafe. This decorated restaurant is a community staple and has served Italian cuisine, featuring the best of fresh, local seafood from a selection of handpicked purveyors, for almost two decades. The menu is bursting with notoriously flavoursome catches, including Spencer Gulf king prawns and southern bluefin tuna.
