Refundable Cancellation Policy

Accommodation bookings can be cancelled with a full refund provided the cancellation is made no less than 2 days prior to check-in. That is cancel by 11:59 pm (local time of property) 2 full days prior to the day of check-in. Excludes flights.

The welcome drink will be a choice of a pint of Guinness or a house cocktail.
Room upgrades for 3+ nights are strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
The 10% spa discount for 5+ nights will only be available for spa treatments longer than 60 minutes.
The included dining credit for 5+ nights must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The dining credit will only be applicable for the set menu at Scott’s Bar & Brassiere.

A lovely hotel nestled in Kilkenny that makes you feel like you are on vacation. The rooms have luxury amenities and heated floors. The infinity pool gives you a surreal view. The hotel breakfast sources local produce and the quality is superb for a buffet - particul shout out to the housemade brown bread. The staff are friendly and attentive, with a particular nod to Sarah in reservations who made our stay extra special. The hotel is also family friendly. We love staying here and will definitely be back.

Having stayed here before I had high expectations and it did not disappoint apart from one member of staff who tried to put a dampener on the whole experience. This man behind reception checked me in on the first day basically shoving the room key at me with no explanation of how things work, amenities etc. I have been here numerous times before so I wasn't too upset by this. I also got a friendly sigh when I enquired about the missing cots in our room which we rang numerous times to ensure we're available. Nonetheless I was still not put off enjoying my break with my family. What upset me though was after our lovely dinner on the last night we retired to the foyer to relax. From the moment my partner arrived there with our two toddlers this same gentleman was frowning and gesturing at her to gather up the toddlers who were being quiet, not annoying or causing inconvenience to anyone be it staff or residents. The situation became uncomfortable and we decided to leave. I assume this gave him great satisfaction. We have stayed here before as stated above and also stayed in it's sister hotel in our home county of clare. For a business that prides themselves on customer service and a family friendly environment which for the most part is true i find the behaviour of this individual (which was not an isolated incident during the trip) let down your establishment immensely. I just think the values people hold you in such high regard for should be echoed by all of your staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights for mother's day we had a fantastic time and all the staff were fantastic and so friendly and helpful with the exception of the bearded man with glasses who works on reception. On arrival he checked my partner in and basically threw the room key at him no welcome, no information, just borderline rude. We said ok maybe he's having a bad day and moved on. The following evening after a lovely dinner in the bar with our 2 toddlers we moved to reception. From the moment we got there he was frowning over at us and gesturing at me to gather up the toddlers who were being quiet and not bothering anyone and just being toddlers. Anytime they moved he stared over at us and frowned. We felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We ended up leaving as we couldn't relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. This hotel is advertised as a family friendly hotel and we have stayed here many times before and also in it's sister hotel in Clare and we have never been subjected to such rudeness and made to feel unwelcome. Perhaps if the gentleman behind the reception has a problem with children he shouldn't be working in such a family orientated hotel. Other than these unfortunate encounters with this particular worker everything else was fantastic.
