The PADI Open Water Diver course comprises three phases: Knowledge Development covers essential scuba basics, Confined Water Dives in a pool-like setting allow gear familiarization and skill practice, and Open Water Dives mark your initial ocean dives. Brief training at the dive’s start ensures more time exploring with your instructor. Upon approval of open water dives, you’re certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, granting lifelong access to dive globally down to 18 meters!
