Siem Reap - Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville

Day One: Arrive at Siem Reap (D)

Upon arrival to Siem Reap. Pick up by your tour guide, transfer to hotel. Commence the tour of Siem Reap. Excursion by boat on Tonle Sap Lake to see the local fishing and floating village. Enjoy Ox-cart ride through local village to learn about daily life of Khmer people. Buffet dinner with cultural show at local restaurant.      

Day Two: Siem Reap (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and Bayon, the Terrace of Elephants, Leper King Terrace, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Banteay Kdei and Taprohm temple. Lunch at local restaurant near the temple. Visit the world's largest religious monument, Angkor Wat. Enjoy one hour traditional Khmer foot massage in town.

Day Three:  Siem Reap (B/D)

Breakfast, visit Banteay Samre and temple Banteay Srei, or the "Citadel of Women". It is said that the reliefs on this unique pink sandstone temple are so delicate that it could only have been carved by the hand of a woman. Visit Artisant d'angkor, a professional training school to help young Cambodians rediscover traditional handicrafts and give them the opportunity to organise into a self-sustaining handicraft network and to take part in the rebuilding process of Cambodia. And then visit Pre Rup temple, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Poan and Preah Khan. Dinner at local restaurant. 

Day Four: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh (public bus)

After breakfast, board a public bus to Phnom Penh. Arrive in Phnom Penh, welcome by your local guide, visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the Russian Market.  

Day Five: Phnom Penh (B/D)

Breakfast, visit Champey Art school, to see local artist being trained in action. Then explore the national museum. After lunch visit Tuol Sleng Genocide museum, former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from its rise to power in 1975 to its fall in 1979. This place provide an insight into the recent sad and shocking history of Cambodia. Dinner at Khmer Surin.

Day Six: Phnom Penh - Sihanoukville: (235km distance)

After breakfast, depart by road (without local guide) to Sihanoukville. Free day at the beach.

Day Seven: Sihanoukville

After breakfast, free day at the beach. You may choose to explore some nearby islands at your own expense.

Day Eight: Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh

After breakfast, free day until transfer (without local guide) back to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight home.
