Take a short 20 minute drive from Denver to Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. This naturally formed arena hosts mesmerising live performances with guests from U2 to symphony orchestras. Ensure you visit in the morning as it closes to the public on concert days by 2.30pm.

If you think of Red Rocks Park as just a beautiful place to see a concert, think again! All around you are 738 total acres of deer, dinosaurs, pines and prairie, geological wonders and spectacular vistas. At 6,450 feet above sea level, Red Rocks Park is a unique transitional zone where the Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains. If you have the time make sure to do the Red Rocks Park Trading Post Trail it is a nice easy hike through 10 of the parks famous red rock formations.
