Day 2 calls for a relaxing morning with a light breakfast before journeying out to explore Ripley’s Believe It Or Not in Hollywood. Your next stop is another Hollywood Blvd classic - Madame Tussauds, before journeying out to The Grove for an afternoon of shopping to your heart’s desire.
Day 3 sees you departing LA and flying to JFK for the New York stint of your adventure. Check in to a Luxury Escapes recommended hotel - Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC and enjoy a martini at the hotel’s chic rooftop bar before hitting the town at the legendary NYC music venue Birdland Jazz Club.
Begin Day 4 with a hearty hotel breakfast or head to the famous Chelsea Market a short 3 minute walk away to pick up some freshly made pastries from one of the local vendors. Next, make your way Central Park for a morning boat ride through the lush surroundings. For lunch, brave the line at Katz Delicatessen (it’s worth it) for a traditional New York style smoky pastrami sandwich, before heading to MoMa to explore the collection of creative and inspiring exhibitions on display. Finish the day with a dinner at Pastis for some of the best French food you’ll ever have.
We still haven’t tried it because I’m intimidated by the lines, but we’ll eventually get around to it. It is one of Eater’s 38 Essential NY Restaurants, and also recommended by cnn, thrillist, timeout, Michelin guide. There are only a few places left in NYC you can get a traditional smoky pastrami sandwich. The wait is horrendous, but go and grab a ticket, since it’s an experience in and of itself. Fun Fact – they serve 10k pounds of pastrami, 5k pounds of corned beef, 2k pounds of salami, and 12k hot dogs each week
Day 5 takes us to explore Greenwich Village with an expert guided food tour that takes you to an array of flavour-filled locations throughout the neighbourhood. Afterwards, head back to the hotel and put your feet up as you relax into the rooftop pools lounge chairs before heading out later that night to La Pecora for a delicious Italian feast. End the night with a theatre show on Broadway - something that can’t be missed while in New York!
Day 6 sees you departing New York and heading to Boston. After checking in to The Eliot Hotel, spend some time exploring downtown Boston. Don’t sleep on a quick stop-off at Brattle Book Shop; a lesser known spot with 3 packed storeys of used books - you’re sure to find a hidden gem in there somewhere. End the day back at The Eliot and if you’re up for some dinner, the hotel has it’s very own Award Winning Celebrity Chef Restaurant; Uni, serving up adventurous, twisted, unexpected sushi and sashimi dishes that never fail to impress.

Check out of your hotel and fly from Boston to Denver, checking in to the Luxury Escapes recommended Eddy Taproom & Hotel,l and enjoy some down time after a big day of travel. For dinner, head to Matsuhisa Japanese restaurant for a delicious meal with signature dishes ranging from Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño, to Black Cod Miso and White fish Tiradito.
Wake up on Day 8 for a big day of exploring, heading to Rocky Mountain National Park. Spend the day immersing yourself in the wondrous natural beauty of your surroundings - you may even want to pack a picnic lunch to enjoy as you look out to the mountain ranges.
Fly from Denver back to LAX on Day 9, stopping in at The Getty before checking in to another Luxury Escapes recommended Hotel - Viceroy Santa Monica for your final night. Wander down to the Santa Monica Pier and enjoy watching the sun set surrounded by the buzzing energy of the beachfront.
End the trip with a relaxing breakfast at the hotel before jumping in your private transfer to LAX and flying back home.
