Hello, and welcome to Singapore!
A spectacular tropical island off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, Singapore is a lush metropolis that’s renowned for its dazzling blend of vibrant cultural districts, magnificent heritage architecture and exceptional gardens – including the sprawling Singapore Botanic Gardens, the city’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After touchdown at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival hall, where you’ll be met by a representative and transferred to your design-focused luxury hotel, Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore.
Signature Accommodation: Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore
Boasting cutting-edge architectural design that incorporates lush greenery at every level thanks to urban parks built within its four open-air and outward-facing atriums – the aptly named Forest, Beach, Garden and Cloud – Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore truly must be seen to be believed.
Recognised as Asia’s Leading New Hotel in 2023 by the World Travel Awards, the hotel offers unrivalled access to the city’s exclusive fashion district, plus four stylish restaurants and bars, St. Gregory Spa and a spectacular outdoor pool.
Later this afternoon, meet your fellow travellers in the hotel lobby for your first taste of Singapore on a visit to Raffles Singapore’s legendary Long Bar. Named after Sir Stamford Raffles – the British governor who established modern Singapore as a trading post in 1819 – Raffles Singapore stands as one of the city’s most cherished heritage icons.
More than just a respected establishment, Raffles Singapore is also the site of cocktail history, thanks to famed Long Bar mixologist Ngiam Tong Boon’s 1905 invention of the city’s national drink: the Singapore Sling.
Originally created to appeal to women frequenting the bar, this dazzling concoction of gin, fruit juice, bitters and liqueur quickly became the city’s favourite. Over a century later, the Long Bar serves approximately one thousand Singapore Slings a day – making this the perfect pre-dinner drink to toast your Singapore and Malaysian gastronomic adventure.
Signature Highlight: Welcome Dinner at yì by Jereme Leung
Helmed by its eponymous Singapore local and world-renowned celebrity chef, yì by Jereme Leung takes this culinary trailblazer’s signature contemporary Chinese dishes to creative new heights.
