7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking until 21 days prior to the original check-in date, however the following fees will apply: $995 per adult (12+) for economy class bookings, $795 per child (2–11) for economy class bookings; $2,995 for adults and children (2+) for business class bookings. The remaining balance, after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees will be refunded to your original payment or credit.

Cancellation can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. If refunded as credit, your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights (outside of your Melbourne to Malé return flight) booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Green Tax: Please note US$12 green tax per person, per night applies, payable directly to the resort on check-in.

All-Inclusive Upgrades Fine Print:

• Daily lunch (select packages only) is available at your choice of Meeru Bar & Grill or Sunset Pool Café. Both venues offer a three-course a la carte service from 12pm–4pm.
• Free-flow drinks are available at all onsite venues, served from 10am–11pm. Includes unlimited alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mocktails, juice, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
• Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol.
• Minibar is not included.
• Sunset dolphin cruise and guided house reef snorkel excursions must be booked in advance.

Domestic Flight & Speedboat Transfers

• Please contact the resort directly to arrange included roundtrip domestic flights and speedboat transfers.
• Please provide flight details at least 14 days before arrival to ensure transfers are booked.
• From Hanimadhoo International Airport, it’s a 20-minute speedboat ride to Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa.
• Domestic flights are with Maldivian Airlines to Hanimadhoo International Airport and take 50 minutes.
• The last transfer time from Malé to the resort is 3.30pm.
• There is a 20-kilogram luggage allowance, plus five kilograms of hand luggage, for transfers.
• The airline carriers reserve the right to charge US$3 per excess kilogram for any luggage weight over the agreed allowance.
• Infants do not receive a luggage allowance.
• For all additional guests, transfer costs are US$490 per adult and US$370 per child. Infants fly free of charge on lap seats only.
