Ooty Lake – Placid and tranquil, Ooty Lake (a 45-minute drive) is an artificial lake that attracts visitors with its stunning beauty, set amid the lush hills. Go cycling around the lake’s periphery or indulge in a fun boating session on the lake — this is a must-visit in Ooty.
Ooty Botanical Garden – Spread over 55 acres, the immaculate Ooty Botanical Garden (a 40-minute drive) consists of five different sections such as Fern House, Lower Garden, Italian Garden, conservatory and nurseries. With a wide variety of blooms, the summer-time Flower Show is very famous here. Make sure to stop by the Fossil Tree Trunk, which dates back 20 million years.
