Wandin Valley Estate sits at the heart of Australia’s oldest wine region and one of NSW’s most rewarding weekend escapes, just 2.5 hours from Sydney. Beyond the cellar doors, the Hunter Valley Gardens span 60 acres of internationally themed gardens in nearby Pokolbin, while the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory offers daily tastings of cheese, chocolate and cured meats.

The hotel is located approximately a 50-minute drive from Newcastle Airport (NCL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

  • Breakfast hampers will be placed in your accommodation prior to arrival and includes free range eggs, smoked bacon, beef sausages, hash browns, mushrooms, Truss tomatoes, baby spinach, rustic bread, cultured butter and juice. 24 hours’ notice is required for all orders.
  • Wine tastings at the Wandin Valley Estate cellar door take place on Saturdays and Sundays only.
  • Guests receive one welcome bottle of wine per two adults, depending on the package purchased and the wines available.
  • Premium BBQ pack (select packages only) will be placed in your accommodation prior to arrival and includes local scotch fillet, chicken thigh skewers, beef sausages, lamb chops, free-range eggs, sliced onions, mushrooms, potato & bacon salad, garden salad, freshly baked bread, cultured butter and condiments. 24 hours’ notice is required for all orders.
Cancellation policy

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

  • Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.
